Interesting 17th-c. collection of manuscript ink recipes (at least some 15 to 20 different recipes) i.a. “memorie om inck te maken die altijt blinckt en nyet en beschimmelt”. On endpapers and flylvs of an annotated copy of “Costuymen der Stadt van Loven ende van haeren ressorte”, Louvain, H. van Haestens, 1622. 4to: [8]-110-[12]-39-[6, 1 bl.] pp. (toned, some old repairs). Cont. mottled calf, spine on 4 raised bands with gilt label (front cover loose, rubbed), kept in box covered with marbled paper. In good condition. Customary legislation of Louvain. Ref.
