Zacchia (fl. in the 2nd half of the 17th c., probably the son or the nephew of the famous doctor Paolo Zacchia). This substantial work had a great impact on the legislation of the 17th and 18th centuries. "Thanks to the many cases discussed, "De Salario" represents a very rich source for understanding early modern labour relations and it allows us to reconstruct the doctrine of salary during the two centuries after the Counter-Reformation" (Caracausi).
