Large 4to: [12]-110-[4], [12]-692-[4], lxxx-[24] pp. (engr. title and first ff. loose, some wormwork near the gutter at the end, min. browning).
Later vellum, flat spine (spine cracked and loosening from bookblock).
First edition of a pioneer work on the early medieval history of (the Counts of) Flanders by the Bruges lawyer O. Vredius. Ill. with an engr. title, an engr. vign. on second title, an engr. double-page map of Flanders and 4 full-page engr. plates on two ff. (within collation).
