Born Marie Agnes Fehrmann, the English mezzo-soprano M. Brema (1856-1925) was a famous Wagnerian, the first British-born singer to appear at the Bayreuth Festspielhaus. In 1908, she gave three concerts in Brussels. 1. To "Chers Amis". Brussels, 21-09-1908. About Tita, her daughter, a Shakespearian actress known as Tita Brand, and about Émile Cammaerts, Belgian writer and poet who married the latter. She announced that the couple would be moving to London with her. - 2. To "Cher Monsieur Huberti". S.l.n.d. G. Huberti (1843-1910) was a Belgian composer linked to the Flemish school despite his Walloon roots.
