First edition of a history of the Dutch Revolt in Flanders by the Italian officer Giustiniano (1569-1616). Ill. with an engraved title and 29 engr. fold. pl. depicting maps, plans, bridges, sieges, etc. in a very original and detailed manner. The only work containing the large strategic plans of the besieged cities in the Low Countries between 1601 and 1609.
