Etching, 17,3 x 14,3 cm, laid paper, signed and dated "Dessiné et gravé par / L'Arch(duche)sse Charlotte d'Autriche 1767." (some light foxing).
Good impression with wide margins. Under passe-partout and frame.
Maria Carolina (1752-1814), daughter of Holy Roman Empress Maria Theresa and Francis I, was known to her family as Charlotte. At the age of 15 she produced a few genre prints, incl. this etching. She later became Queen of Naples and Sicily.
