Lot description
Folio-size (c. 32 x 23 cm), 3 documents sewn together (1 loose), 1 on vellum [4-2 bl.] ff., 2 on paper [8] and [4-2 bl.] ff. (2nd one with covered seal), French (vellum) and Dutch (paper). In good condition (ink of vellum document fading).
The vellum document contains the "lettres patentes" by Joseph II for the sale of lands of the former Bruges Jesuits. Paper document 1 contains a copy of the conditions of the 27th sale, document 2 is titled "Conditien op de welcke men van wegens joncker jacques joseph hergodts heer van Nieumunster raed ende ontfanger generael van sijne majesteyts domainen binnen Brugge [...]" and dated 28 November 1781.
With 3 additional loose manuscript maps: a. (37 x 52 cm), the "27. coop [...] partije bosch [...] noortwestzijde van den ruijsseleetschen wegh [...]"; b. (27, 5 x 43 cm), the "21. coop [...] proche van altere [...]"; c. (27,5 x 43 cm), the "23. coop [...] altere".
