Lot description
Woodblocks, c. 7,5 x 8,6 x 2,3 cm, numb. 3013, 3017, 3021 with drystamp on side, 1 with ms. note on verso "de Gaucheret / Wouters" (1 very sm. crack outside image).
Excellent condition.
The arms of Gaucheret, the arms of alliance with Wouters de Jauche, and the arms of alliance with an unidentified family. The Gaucheret family owned the Domaine du Neckersgat in Uccle, and a square and street in Schaerbeek bear the same name. Possibly from the collection of Henri Gaucheret (early 18th c.), who married Marie-Thérèse Wouters.
