First edition of this rather rare zoological work by the Dutch N. Anslijn (1777-1838). Ill. with 321 hand-coloured lithographed plates. Vol. 1 on mammals and birds; vol. 2 on amphibians, reptiles, fishes and insects. Incl. indexes of Latin names. An intended text-volume was never published.
