Engraving, 22,1 x 15,3 cm, in reverse "CLAUDIUS MELLAN NATIONE / GALLUS PICTOR ET INCISOR / Romae superiorum pm 1.6.3.5." (sm. tear strenghtened at bottom, corner repaired at bottom right, few flattened folds, few light spots).
Hinged at right edges. Good impression with margins.
Counterproof of the 1st state of Claude Mellan's (1598-1688) famous self-portrait.
