Etching, 10,5 x 12,0 cm, laid paper with partial watermark, Latin text, numb. 22 (right margin restored).
Good impression with wide margins.
N. 22 from Antonio Tempesta's (1555-1630) "Metamorphoses", published in Antwerp by Pieter de Jode I in 1606 and in Amsterdam by Willem Jansz. Blaeu c. 1640. One of the most entertaining compositions of the series.
