19th-c. vellum, blue ink frames on covers, flat spine with green leather title label, a.e.g. (only lightly unfresh). Good copy.
First edition of this work on the war of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714) concluded by the treaties of Utrecht (1713) and Rastatt (1714). Engr. ill.: front. fold. map of the Southern Netherlands and 14 fold. pl. showing battles and maps of Brussels, Ghent, Oudenaarde, Menen, Dunkirk, Lille, Douai, Mons, etc. and with an exhaustive list (23 pp.) of subscribers. Stocklist bound at the beginning. Also bound with, at the beginning, a 19th-c. view of Blenheim House.
