8vo (offset on flylvs).
Quarter buff paper (sl. soiled), gold stamped on upper left cover, white paper boards with a repeat pattern of "daisy" printed in green and pink, inlay box in paper, cardboard and leather with imitating painted "daisy" pattern. Uncut copy.
Limited edition to 241 copies (incl. 6 on vellum). 1/235 on Arches paper printed in Brook (unnumb. copy). With 14 wood-engr. ill. and pressmark in b/w protected with tissue-guards. "Esther [Pissarro] thought the cost of binding A Brief Account was too high due to the unnecessary interleaving. Leighton explained to her that interleaving was necessary to prevent off-set with solid engravings and the cost of interleaving the book was considerable" (Genz).
