1 f. (15,1 x 11,6 cm), in Latin, 4 ll., in a brown Gothic hand (written area 2,5 x 5,5 cm).

Under passe-partout and wooden frame: 26 x 21,5 cm (not studied outside frame).

Well-executed three-quarter page arch-topped miniature (7,5 x 5,5 cm) within a burnished gold frame, richly decorated. Text with 4-line initial in blue with elegant white penwork and delicate blue and red floral infill on burnished gold grounds and 1-line gold initial. Full gilt decorated borders including acanthus-leaf sprays, other foliage, flowers and fruits. The scene is painted in a church interior with the Virgin in blue drapery and Apostles heightened with liquid gold, all surrounded by a gold aureola.
