1 f. (± 200 x 137 cm), on vellum, pen and brown ink, in French, coats of arms and ill. enhanced with watercolour (some sl. soiling and sm. stains, in the lower part some tears without loss and a large water stain on the whole width and on 50 cm in height affecting the last 4 branches of the tree).

In roll with 2 wooden pieces, mod. hanging chain (turned wooden end pieces missing except one).

Genealogical tree of this Brabant family, from Wauthier de Hamme in the 11th c. to the midst of 18th c. The lower part of the tree was added in the second part of the 19th c., with four generations of "van Hamme" until the 1870's, including cardinal Engelbert Sterckx (1792-1867), primate of Belgium (1832-1867), grandson of Gertrude van Hamme. The top of the table is ornated with a large coat of arms on the left, a nice captioned view of the "chateau de Steÿnockerzele appelé [...] le chateau de Hamme" (Ham Castle in Steenokkerzeel) on the right, and about 150 coats of arms (simple and of alliance).
