Lot description
Lithograph, 20 x 34 cm, chine appliqué on thick wove paper 31,7 x 46 cm, monogrammed in the stone at centre left, unsigned (min. light foxing in lower left margin).
Second state (of 2) of this rather rare print limited to 100 copies of this bridge, seen at very high tide, with many figures passing over. Three piers are shown, and between them is seen in the distance the Suspension Bridge and the tower of Chelsea Church, with groups of barges and steamers. In front, reflections on the very light water.
