Etching, 41,5 x 59,8 cm, thick wove paper 56,5 x 76,3 cm, pencil signed and numbered 83/90 in the lower margin (min. marg. creases).
Large desolate landscape of an ancient and mystical city on high cliffs. Desmazières (Rabat 1948) is a French etcher based in Paris. He is a member of the editorial board of "Nouvelles de l'estampe" and president of the Society of French painters-engravers. In 2008, he was elected first chairman of engraving at the "Académie des beaux-arts".
