Lot description
Drawing, pencil, black chalk, 19,7 x 15,6 cm (visible), laid paper, unsigned (few sm. stains, coll. mark at bottom right).
Under passe-partout and gilt frame (not studied outside frame).
Attributed on the mount to La Rue (1718-1780), who produced similar drawings of soldiers.
Prov. Arnold Blome (1894-1972), German artist and dealer (stamp, cf. L. 4042).
