Under passe-partout and gilt wooden frame (not studied outside frame).

Text in Gothic, surrounded by historiated borders depicting i.a. some scenes from the "dance of death". Initials heightened with gold and with blue or red background.
Joined: Vellum leaf from a manuscript prayer book. [France?, first half of 15th c.]. Illumination, 15 x 10 cm, 15 ll., written area: 10 x 6,5 cm, by a brown Gothic hand. With a nice gilt floral border. Both sides visible. (2 pcs)
