Album composed by the Italian senator Tancredi Canonico for his friend M. Gauthier. With a lot of iconic Roman views: the Aelian Bridge over the Tiber, the interior of the St. Peter's Basilica, the Papal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Forum Romanum, the Via Appia, the Pyramid of Cestius, etc. At the end photos of famous Italian paintings and sculptures preserved in Roman museums.
