Lot description

3 parts in 1 vol., 16mo: 106-38-175 ff. (final blank missing; stain in fore-edge margin ff. 17-20 of pt. I, hole in blank part final f.).

18th-c. mottled calf, triple gilt-ruled border on covers, richly gilt spine, gilt inside dentelles, a.e.g., marbled endpapers, green silk marker (joints rubbed, front joint splitting, head def. corners sl. bumped). Good copy.

First ed. (2nd Speyer 1595) of this collective ed. of 3 Renaissance love poets, Marullus (1458-1500), Angerianus (1480-1535) and Janus Secundus (1511-1536). Ornament on title and part titles.
