French manuscript on paper, c. 22,5 x 17 cm, 914 pp., written in various hands (bottom dampstained throughout, 1 quire loosening).

Cont. sheep, gilt spine on 5 raised bands (worn, joints split, head and tail def., flylvs gone). In all in good condition.

Extensive collection of sermons for the liturgical year, on various aspects of religious life and devotion (on virtues and sins, the Lord’s Passion, panegyrics of saints etc.) Prov. Some mathematical scribbling on blank pp.. - On lower endpaper “à amboise le 21. 7bre 1788”.
