16th-c. leather spine, a rectangular piece with visible quires sewn unto, covered with a rubricated leaf of a 15th-c. Latin liturgical manuscript, loose in limp vellum wr. Beautiful rubricated copy with wide margins.
Very rare (7th recorded copy?) 2nd ed. (1st 1504) of a popular devotional work. Large woodcut (Crucifixion) at the end. Gothic type. Ref. NKr 2149. - BCNI 378. - Pettegree NB 12980. - STC Dutch (BL) 205. - Not in Adams, BnF.
