Watercolour, 18,5 x 16,5 cm, paper, signed and dated on lower right corner (scratches in sky).
Under passe-partout.
Landscape with resting camels and monuments in the background (probably Egypt). Jacobs (Antwerp 1812-1879) was a Belgian landscape and seascape painter in the Romantic style, with a preference for northern and "oriental" scenes.
Prov. Franciscus Bauweraerts (stamp on verso, Lugt 3325).
