Engraving, 43 x 56 cm, small margins, laid paper with watermark (similar to Briquet 9816), signed in the plate "I Saenredam inue. et sculp." (centr. vertic. fold hardly visible, sm. tear in top right corner).

Allegory of the flourishing state of the United Provinces. First and only state of this view figuring Prince Maurice at the head of a hunting party in the woods and offering the hunting proceeds to the female personification of the United Provinces. On the right the procession of hunters including Frederick Henry. On the left the Dutch Virgin surrounded by the personifications of the liberal arts, Mercury and the arms of the provinces of the Republic. Fama blows the trumpet. In the foreground two putti with the coat of arms of Maurice and the blooming "Oranjeboom". In the caption 4 columns with 3 lines in Latin.
