Large 4to: [98], [1]-cxlvi (= 146)-[3], [1]-cxxvi (= 126)-[3] ff. (toned, dampstained, occ. soiled, some marg. tears and repairs).
Mod. vellum over wood, flat spine, bottom edge old titled. Good copy.
Extr. rare Lyon postincunable ed. (6th recorded copy?) of some popular philosophy courses by the Swiss-born Paris philosopher Tartaret (d. 1522). He was a leading representative of Scotist scholasticism and dialectics. The 3 works were 1st publ. Paris 1493-1495. Some woodcut logical and astronomical diagrams (and 2 manuscript drawings on m10r-v). Printed in gothic type, in 2 cols. Ref.
