In 1792, two editions were publ. by Naderman. Our copy is probably the first and extr. rare without engraved plate numbering. Fully engraved music score by Nicolas-Antoine Huguet (without plate number) of the "opéra comique" in three acts composed by L. Cherubini. It was a founding work of the so called rescue opera and one of the first Romantic operas. Ill. with an engr. title representing little cherubs playing music instruments. After the title we find a catalogue of the works belonging to the publisher, Naderman. At the end a supplement of 9 pp. with title scores for timpani, trumpets and wind instruments for the finals of acts 1, 2 and 3. Signed on p. 1 by the librettist Claude-François Fillette-Loraux, the composer and publisher.
