Engraving, 22,7 x 39,6 cm, laid paper, wide margins, signed in plate at bottom centre, French and Dutch text in lower margin (old repaired tear at top centre, some creases, sl. toned, underlaid on paper mount).

A rare anonymous engraving after a design by Maarten de Vos. A young man can be seen dancing around an egg to the cheerful tunes of a bagpipe player and some fools dressed as musicians. A nobleman and his lady behold the scene from the background. The letter D at the lower right corner suggests that the print was part of a larger series.
Ref. Hollstein XLIV.256.1283.II (of II).
