Contemp. sheep (rubbed, corners repaired), gilt orn. spines on 5 raised bands (joints rubbed, defect. at heads & tails), red or green leather label, red edges.

New ed. (1st Frech ed. 1718) of the translation of a German work edited by Bressler und Aschenburg (1681-1722) "Die heutigen christlichen Souverainen von Europa". Also attributed to Samuel Heinrich Schmid ("Die durchläuchtige Welt..."). Ill. (complete) with 45 engr. plates of coats-of-arms incl. 1 folding and numerous in text vignettes representing coats-of-arms.
