Interesting and rare set. 1. "I'll tell you what!". By the novelist, actress and dramatist Elizabeth Inchbald (1753-1821). Played on 1st July 1786 (according to a contemp. note for the 20th time) at the Theatre Royal Haymarket . - 2. The Merchant of Venice. Played on 28 December 1809 at the "New Theatre Royal, Covent-Garden", i.e. the Royal Opera House. - 3. Macbeth. Played on 20 December 1824 at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
