Publ. half brown leather, brown paper on covers, gilt title on front cover, flat spine (rubbed, joints partly split).

Illustrated with 35 tinted lithographs: 2 portraits of the Archbishops of Paris and 33 pl. figuring the woodworks of the choir of Notre-Dame. With a notice on liquefied ivory for the realisation and reproduction of these woodworks by abbot Jean-Baptiste Étienne Pascal.
