Drawing, red chalk (sanguine), 21,8 x 22 cm (corners cut off), laid paper with watermark "J. Villedary", unsigned (right side wrinkled, sl. stained, old traces on verso).
Mounted by upper corners under passe-partout.
Cupid observing two men laboriously carrying naked, opulent women. The sheet had been attributed to Jordaens on the passe-partout. Villedary paper was in use from 1668 to the end of the 18th c.
