Late impression on 19th-c. paper. Nice plate.

Second and final state after Dürer's watercolour drawing, kept in Vienna. The lively composition of the Virgin playing with the infant Christ in a landscape full of varied detail reflects the evolution towards the genre of independent landscape painting.
