1. Witdoeck, Jan - The Entombment of Christ. Antwerp, 1625-1642. Engraving, 37,5 x 50 cm, laid paper, signed in the plate "PP Rubens invent / Jo. Witdoeck sculp." (tiny restoration at lower right corner). After a lost painting by Rubens for the Capuchin Church in Cambrai. 2nd state (of 2). Ref. Hollstein LIII:6. - 2. Idem - The Supper at Emmaus. Antwerp, 1638. Engraving, 45 x 46,5 cm, thick laid paper, signed and dated in the plate at lower text margin "PP Rubens pinxit / H. Witdoec sculp. A. 1638" (laid down on paper mount, trimmed to platemark, some foxing in the margins). 2nd state (of 2). Ref. Hollstein LIII:7.- 3. Van Sompel, Peter - The Supper at Emmaeus. Antwerp, G. Valk, 1643. Engraving, 36 x 32,5 cm, laid paper with watermark (fleur-de-lis), signed and dated in the plate "P. Paul Rubensius pinxit / P. van Sompelen". 1st state (of 3). Ref. Hollstein XXVII:2.
