18th c
Drawing, red chalk, 42,5 x 58,5 cm, laid paper with unidentified watermark (IHS/IV), unsigned (sm. tears at upper edge, line of 3 cm in ballpoint pen at lower left edge, tear of ca. 2,5 cm at right edge, old glue marks on verso).
Classical scene with the arrival of a barge with women at an island with a monument or epitaph. A vague squaring grid was applied to the drawing as a means of transfer.
