Drawing, pencil, 17 x 20,5 cm, laid paper, attributed on the passe-partout "Eugène Lami" (foxing, some min. folds).
Attached to original oval 19th-c. passe-partout.
Nice portrait drawing of a young lady in evening dress. Eugène Lami (1800-1890) was a French painter, watercolorist, lithographer, illustrator and designer. He was a painter of fashionable Paris during the period of the July Monarchy and the Second French Empire and also made history paintings.
