Etching, 42 x 61 cm, thick laid paper with watermark (fleur-de-lis in double-circle, similar to Heawood:1589), signed in plate at lower right margin "Piranesi Fecit" (sm. horiz. fold at upper centre).

Very strong and dark impression of the 4th state (of 7), first Paris edition.
