Etching, 43,5 x 68,5 cm, thick laid paper, signed in plate on the scroll at lower left "Cavel Piranesi inc." (sm. repaired tear at base of sixth column on the left, tiny brown stains at upper margin, ms. writing in brown ink "R II" in scroll).
Under passe-partout.
Very dark impression of the 2nd state (of 4), with heavier biting. First Paris edition.
