Rare conserved sales catalogue with handwritten price list for different types of globes (with cardboard meridians, ecliptic circle, precession of the equinoxes etc.) and for a "machine géociclique", i.e. a geocyclic machine which is built to represent the changes of the seasons, the increase and decrease of the length of the days, etc. All instruments for sale by Jean Loysel, instrument maker who learned his job from Jean-Baptiste Fortin, globe- and instrument maker from 1787 to 1823. Loysel's firm was located in the Plâtre-Saint-Jacques 9.
