Drawing, pen and Chinese ink, watercolour, 41 x 28 cm, paper, signed and dated at the lower left "Laudy 37".
Under passe-partout, in wooden gilt frame (not studied outside frame).
Illustration of the Dickens novel by the Belgian comic book artist Jacques Laudy (1907-1993), who contributed to the early issues of the weekly Tintin magazine.
