Very rare 3rd edition (1st 1640) of this long devotional poem by the Dordrecht preacher and writer Jacobus Lydius (1610-1679). A "stichtelijk Handboek voor godvruchtige huisgezinnen", according to the writer J. Scheltema (1767-1835). Ill. with large engr. plate on title and 10 rather curious engr. plates (1 full-page).
