Lot description
Engraving, 21,5 x 15,3 cm, laid paper, signed in the plate at lower right "E.G. Sadeler fec." (squaring grid in pencil on surface).
Under passe-partout (hiding the margins) and wooden frame (not studied outside frame).
The nymph Syrinx sitting half-dressed at the riverside, while being spied on by Pan hiding in the bushes behind her. With Latin text in lower margin. Good impression of only state.
