Lot description
Polychromed and gilt wooden sculpture, 40 x 23 cm, no signature or marks (overall in good condition with some dirt and wear to the surface, several pieces of paint chipped off, e.g. at angel's knee, Mary's Bible, and sm. chip at upper edge of baldachin).
Devotional sculpture in the style of 16th-c. Brantine carved retables. Possibly French or Flemish school.
