Haarlem, after 1590

Drawing, brown wash, 17,5 x 26,5 cm, thick paper, unsigned (traces of old mount on verso, trimmed to borders).

Professional study drawing after an engraving by Jan Harmensz. Muller, itself based upon a painting by the Haarlem Mannerist Cornelis Cornelisz.

Joined: Flemish School - Head of a young boy. Ca. 1650. Drawing, black chalk, 11 x 10,5 cm, laid paper, unsigned (lower corners trimmed, mounted on 18th-c. wove paper with figure sketch in red chalk on verso, large vert. discoloured fold at center). Laid down on blue paper by upper corners. (2 pcs)
