4 drawings, various sizes and conditions.

1. "Basilica Bruxellensis SS. Michaelis et Gudilae". Pencil in black and red, pen and brown ink, 32,2 x 38,5 cm, brown laid paper, 32 x 38,5 cm (sm. hole). Loose from paper support. Copy after J. Harrewijn with drawing grid. - 2. P.-P. Mercx? Design drawing of a pillory? Pencil, pen and black ink, watercolour, laid paper, 20,3 x 31,6 cm. From the Coudenberg-palace? - 3. "Den autaer van onse lievrouw tot sinte gudule". Pencil, grey wash, 16 x 28,2 cm, laid paper. Laid down on ivory paper. The 2 halves of the symmetrical composition are variants. Presumably this is one of the designs for the new Chapel built between 1654 and 1657 in the Brussels Sainte-Gudule after a design by Jacques Voorspoel (1595-1663) from Mechelen. - 4. Drawing of the catafalque/cenotaph of Charles VI. Pen, brown ink and grey wash. 13,7 x 23,5 cm, laid paper. Laid down on ivory paper. Charles VI died on 20 october 1740. Following his death, many funeral ceremonies were held in the Austrian Netherlands, in Brussels, Bruges, Mechelen, Leuven, Ronse etc. F.J. de Rons made a similar design for empress Elisabeth Christine, wife of Charles VI (FMH 4015-B).
