Rare Luxembourg ed. of the text of the famous Golden Bull of 1356, issued by the Diet at Nuremberg and Metz, and one of the most important texts in European history. It defined the constitutional structure of the Holy Roman Empire for more than 400 years. The second part, "Lettres patentes de la pragmatique sanction et loy perpetuelle [...]" (12 pp.), with separate title page and continuous pagination. Woodcut mark on 1st title. Three large woodcut initials.
