Contemp. vellum, covers with gilt central coat of arms of Delft ruled with gilt fillet and orn. with angular fleurons, gilt orn. spine with raised bands, red sprinkled edges, green silk ties. In good condition.
Corrected and annotated edition by T. Dempster (1579-1625) of Rosinus' (1551-1626) work on Roman Antiquity. Engr. ill.: title, title-vign., large folding city plan of Rome by P. Philip after Torenvliet, 5 full-page and 2 folding pl. Title in red and black.
