Fascinating and unique album with 19 photos documenting the official visit of a delegation of the Belgian and Dutch government on 9th March 1949, to see a demonstration of new television technology at the Marconi Research Laboratories at Great Baddow, and the Marconi works in Chelmsford. The photos include a group picture of the delegates and Marconi representatives, a demonstration of the new orthicon television cameras, examining an image orthicon pick-up tube, a visit to the coil-winding shop, the Marconi representatives bidding farewell to their guests.
