8vo: [64, incl. front.]-872-[72]-33-[1]-[58] pp. (sm. tear in ttt5 touching some letters).

Contemp. overl. vellum (soiled), flat spine titled in ink.

Enlarged ed. (1st Ulm 1641) of a succesful pharmacopeia by the German physician and pharmacologist J. Schröder (1600-1664), famous for his "discovery" of arsenic. The present ed. has translations in 6 languages: Latin, Greek, German, French, English, and Dutch. Engr. front. (with portrait). Woodcut mark on title. A few woodcuts in text.
