22 x 15 cm, 165 double folding leaves with illustrations (stains).
Four-hole stab binding: yellow covers (worn), front with bright yellow 10,5 x 8 cm quarter trace of a title label, original block-printed title label with three nearly illegible and four ink written characters: saikoku [recurved] taizen jinkôki; first title page on mika glimmer paper; last page ink inscription: address, (poem?), back cover with ink written characters (name). Good copy.
Later edition of 1832 book of Hasegawa (1782-1838/39?), a leading member of the Seki school of mathematics, made a series of notable contributions to geometry. A number of illustrations depict abacus.
